New opportunity with an award winning hospital in Iowa for a Nurse Practitioner with experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or as a hospitalist.
This DNP or ARNP delivers patient care with a high degree of expertise by formulating an evidence-based care plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within his/her scope of practice.
The DNP or ARNP collaborates with physicians and other members of the care team to provide prompt comprehensive and competent medical care.
This DNP/ARNP provides Occupational Medicine coverage in the clinic and occasional back-up coverage for the ARNP Hospitalist. Directs and reviews all laboratory, radiology and therapy results and develops appropriate treatment plans.
Establish a database of information on the client by:
Conducting a developmental assessment of the client using appropriate techniques
Assess status of the client by:
Discriminating between normal and abnormal physical findings
Manage care by:
Providing for treatment
Assisting other members of the care team with management of referred clients
Is competent in performing procedures specific to the service line.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Nursing Practice or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner program
Certification in specialty areas or active progress shown for attainment of certification
Current licensure as DNP or ARNP in the state of Iowa
Preferred experience in Occupational Medicine
Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
